SK Foundation, a California based charitable organization is committed to providing service for those who are mentally challenged. Our mission is to educate, train and rehabilitate these children and adults with learning disabilities due to inborn errors of metabolism and make them self-reliant. With proper care, guidance and specialized training these disabled children and adults can become part of our society and lead independent lives.
The goal of SK Foundation is to collect funds to help finance institutions dedicated to the uplifting of such mentally challenged children and adults. SK Foundation plans to fund and work closely with an organization called “Swayamkrushi” located in Secunderabad, India. Swayamkrushi is an organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of the mentally challenged. With a dedicated and passionate training staff, facilities and ‘home like’ living units housing up to 8 individuals in a family type environment, Swayamkrushi has made impressive progress in bringing a number of these less fortunate individuals back into society over the last several years.
